In 1994, on Malian soil, a bold dream was born—rooted in a deep ambition: to contribute to the continent’s food self-sufficiency. That dream is now embodied by Toguna, a group that, since 2006, has established itself as a major industrial player in West Africa’s agro-industry.
The TOGUNA GROUP is composed of five entities operating across diverse sectors:
- TOGUNA AGRO INDUSTRIES: Production and marketing of fertilizers with an installed capacity of 600,000 tons of NPK bulk blending and 100,000 tons of granulated natural phosphate per year. The entity also boasts a fertilizer analysis laboratory, and distributes crop protection products and treatment equipment.
- TOGUNA SARL: Logistics and transportation services with a fleet of over 600 trucks.
- TOGUNA MOTORS: Assembly unit for agricultural machinery and heavy equipment, as well as the marketing of trucks and light vehicles.
- TOGUNA MINING CORPORATION: Production and marketing of limestone, decorative pebbles, and dolerite gravel for the construction industry and cement plants.
- LES PREFABRIQUÉS DU MALI: Production and sale of concrete blocks, paving stones, bricks, and road curbs.

By his side, Mr. Oumar Guindo, Managing Director of Toguna Agro Industries, is a man of action, dialogue, and high standards. Under his leadership, Toguna has consolidated its position as a leader in fertilizer blending and technical services for farmers. Since 2024, he has also served as Secretary General of WAFA, where he ensures the smooth functioning of the regional administration and effective implementation of strategic decisions. His sense of service, consensus-building spirit, and deep knowledge of the sector make him a cornerstone of WAFA's leadership.
