Morocco's OCP sees Nigeria ammonia plant starting up in 2023

Moroccan phosphate producer OCP Group expects a planned $1.3 billion ammonia plant in Nigeria to start producing in late 2023, a senior company official said on Thursday.

The plant will be built in southeast Nigeria where gas suppliers have been identified, Mohammed Hettiti, head of OCP Nigeria, told Reuters on the sidelines of a conference in Rabat, without giving details.

Togo and Dangote join forces to produce phosphate fertilizers

The Togolese government and Aliko Dangote Industries announced on 7 November the conclusion of a partnership to develop a phosphate fertilizer processing industry in Togo.
